An impressive M.P.

In late October this year, I had the opportunity to attend the 13th annual Sustainable Economic Growth for Regional Australia (SEGRA) Conference in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. I delivered a power-point presentation on the concept of a ‘rainbow corridor’ (running from Darwin to Adelaide) and a ‘rainbow triangle’ (between Broome – W.A., Cairns – Queensland and Adelaide – S.A.) that ‘bundled’ together Gay and Lesbian Tourism Australia (GALTA) members in various clusters for co-operative marketing and advertising opportunities.

One of the opening speakers was a young National Party MLA, Brendon Grylls, who is the Minister for Regional Development in Western Australia. What an impressive, forward thinking and talented ‘thinker’ he is. Brendon has introduced the Royalties for Regions programs across the state and it has met with extensive support.

It is parliamentarians such as Brendon Grylls who demonstrate initiative and proactive thinking that will help drive the on-going growth a development of that state. He is sincerely wished every future success in what I hope will be a long, strong and productive career in politics.
